Do you know what’s nice? Watching people who wrote you off at the beginning - shrugged you off as nothing and didn’t bother with you - now acknowledging that you’re doing well. Witnessing you becoming successful and happy and stable and getting your shit together.
It’s nice being able to sit back and say “yeah, I’ve come out the other side” while they’re all still floundering about.
I don’t care how shallow that sounds. It’s a nice feeling.
