Welcome to Project Anonymous Love
Project Anonymous Love is created by RachDerp, a British YouTuber. Its aim is to help out the people who post in the depression, suicide and self-harm tags, as well as those who run blogs which document their struggles with depression, by sending them anonymous messages of love, hope and advice.
Depression has been a growing problem on Tumblr for years, and the number of blogs dedicated to struggles with mental health disorders is growing rapidly.
Sending anonymous messages to these people, however, might just save their lives. In fact, it has done. So far I (RachDerp) have saved 8 lives so far, just by telling people in their times of need that they’re not alone and that they have somebody to talk to.
However, I can’t fight this battle alone. I need people to help me. I need people who will:
1) Get involved in the project by sending messages.
2) Share this video as much as they can. Even just a reblog will help me out so much <3
3) Make your own videos, pictures and posts about this idea.
So let’s get it out there. Let’s save lives and change Tumblr for the better <3
